Arrive in Fort William by car

Fort William is situated at the head of Loch Linnhe on the A82 Glasgow to Inverness road. An alternative route is the A9 from Perth, joining the A86 at Dalwhinnie. Approximate journey times by road:

Satellite Navigation. N56°48′ 45″ W5° 6′ 48″ will take you to the front door. Our postcode, PH33 6EZ, isn’t always available in Satnav systems so when you arrive in Fort William at the West End Hotel roundabout take the turning up the hill onto Lundavra Road, then take the second left onto Argyll Terrace and then first right into Heathercroft Road. Drive straight to the top of the hill and Lochview will be on your right.


 Arrive in Fort William by rail

Scotrail operate a regular service from Glasgow which connects to the rest of the UK. The “Caledonian Sleeper” is a daily (except Saturdays) overnight service between London Euston and Fort William.

We strongly recommend you get a taxi to Lochview from the station as we are situated on the hillside overlooking Fort William. The walk from the station is up a steep hill which can be difficult with luggage.


Arrive in Fort William by coach

City Link operate a regular service from Fort William to Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh with forward connections to the rest of the UK.

We strongly recommend you get a taxi to Lochview from the station as we are situated on the hillside overlooking Fort William. The walk from the station is up a steep hill which can be difficult with luggage.
